It highlights selecting appropriate observation methods from a variety of categories and understanding objectivity versus subjectivity in recording observations and the advantages and disadvantages of each observation method. This course will also provide the learners with practical experience in observing and recording children’s behaviour and valuable tips for practicum students in early childhood settings.

Planning and implementing a wide range of stimulating and challenging play-based, hands-on activities and experiences will also be studied and accomplished during this investigative and exploratory course.
